Ingredients

FOR THE YEAST DOUGH:
250 ml warm milk
80 g butter
500 g flour
90 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 cube fresh yeast
1 egg
some butter for the mould
some flour for the dough

FOR THE BLAST:
1½ kg plums
50 g sugar
½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Heat the milk with the butter cubes in a saucepan. Mix flour with sugar and salt in a bowl. Crumble in the yeast. Add the lukewarm milk and butter mixture together with the egg and knead for 5 minutes with the dough hooks until a smooth dough forms. Cover and leave to rest for 60 minutes.

In the meantime, for the topping, wash, halve and stone the plums. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Grease the baking tray. Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat (fan oven: 160°C).

Knead the dough briefly on a floured work surface and roll out to the size of a baking tray. Place on the greased baking tray and press a rim. Cover the dough with the plums. Bake for approx. 35 minutes. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve warm.
